Charlotte Restaurant Week January 2018 is one of my favorite events of the year, and it’s almost HERE! Charlotte Restaurant Week, or “The Queen’s Feast” as it’s commonly known gives Charlotteans the opportunity to try out great new restaurants in the Charlotte area for a fraction of the normal cost. Charlotte Restaurant Week January 2018 runs from January 19 – January 28, 2018. Each year, the popularity of this event grows, so check out the details here, and make your reservations early! Many of these restaurants accept reservations via OpenTable.
What is Charlotte Restaurant Week January 2018?
The Queen’s Feast, or Charlotte Restaurant Week is a semi-annual event in Charlotte and surrounding areas – one week in January and one week in July. It’s a 10-day long food fest in which participating restaurants offer a three or sometimes four-course prix fixe menu for either $30 or $35 per person (does not include tax or tip). This is a great opportunity to sample lots of exceptional dishes at your favorite restaurants or at new restaurants you haven’t yet discovered. Every year, my husband and I discover a new “favorite” place to visit. There are over 130 participating restaurants, spanning Charlotte and 9 surrounding counties. You’re sure to find lots of choices near you!
How Does It Work?
Scroll down this blog post to see a list of most of the restaurants that are participating in this winter’s Charlotte Restaurant Week January 2018. To see a full list, visit Charlotte Restaurant Week’s Facebook page.
Once you’ve chosen your restaurant(s), I strongly suggest that you make a reservation. Queen’s Feast is very popular and it will be quite difficult to get a seat without a reservation. The Queen’s Feast is only available for dinner – no lunches! Remember, you’ll get 3 courses (some restaurants offer 4 courses – yay!); some restaurants also offer a glass of wine or beer as part of the deal.
ADDED BONUS for AAA members: show your current AAA membership card while you’re enjoying your Charlotte Restaurant meal at 6 participating restaurants, and you will be entitled to buy a $50 gift card for just $25! Find out which 6 restaurants are partnering with AAA this year for this exclusive bonus by clicking here.
