Providence Plantation Racquet and Swim Club – Thriving Junior Tennis Program
Tennis is a great sport for all ages, but PPRSC specializes in its Junior Tennis program. Starting with Pee Wee (ages 4 – 6), the junior tennis program progresses to Little Aces (ages 5-8), Junior Beginners (ages 7-12), and Tennis for Teens (13-18). For the more serious junior players,PPRSC offers Intermediate, Advanced and Future Stars, which requires pro approval. A high level of commitment and intensity is required for this program.
Junior-Olympic Sized Pool and Swim Team
Having a neighborhood pool is such a great asset to any community, and the Providence Plantation pool is certainly a great amenity. The Junior-Olympic sized pool, separate baby pool, snack bar, grilling area and decks, and shady cabanas make this pool really special. Starting in mid-May, the Providence Plantation swim team rolls into action (Go Piranhas!) with after-school practice, and the pool is open every day to all members after school is out for the summer. The PPRSC pool is a great place to socialize with friends, meet new neighbors, and enjoy the many parties and social activities offered throughout the summer.
Providence Plantation Racquet and Swim Club – Membership Information
The Providence Plantation Racquet and Swim Club in South Charlotte is quite a bargain! The one-time initiation fee is only $800, and the annual dues are just $800. That’s quite a lot of activity and fun for just $800 per year! When I moved to Providence Plantation in 1998, there was a waiting list, but there are memberships available now.
